Learning about the forest is a great homeschool unit and these forest books for kids will certainly help! The forest is such a magical, peaceful place and there’s so much to learn about, and from, the forest.
Whether the weather outside is warm or chilly, my kids and I are always up for a walk in the forest. We’ll tie up the laces on our sneakers, throw a hat on our heads (because…ticks!), and head off for a peaceful walk in the forest. While inside, we’ll take note of all the plants and animals that we may or may not see while doing our best to be quiet as not to disturb the residents of the forest.
These forest books are a great way to learn more about the forest while encouraging reading and creative thinking. The kids will love them!
